Keep Calm Craft On

I’ve had a special collection of fabric for quite some time now, too precious to cut into without a great project in mind. Briar Rose by Heather Ross. So while drinking my coffee this morning I found Sister’s Ten Modern BOM and I knew this would be the perfect project for this bundle of fabric. Now, I know this block of the month was for 2013 and it’s already the end of February. I’m a little late to the party, but that’s okay. I have a rainy, kid free weekend ahead of me. I’m excited to dig in. Hopefully by this time next week I’ll have some finished blocks to show you.

  1. Those fabrics look so cheery together, perfect for spring! The pattern you chose looks lovely but complicated… I have never made a quilt before but I think I am going to attempt a simple design sometime this year.

  2. I really love to see a “potential” post. Sometimes, I feel pressured to only show finished products but as a a reader of blogs, I really like to see the process. I’m sure the quilt will be gorgeous. Thanks for sharing!
